HubHaus manages the home for the residents inside the home
Every member who lives in one of our homes completes a background check prior to joining our network
HubHauses are not short-term rentals. Our members stay at our houses for an average of 1.25 years, and our longest member has lived in a HubHaus for 3 years
HubHaus caters to a range of budgets, providing options for those who are more price conscious to those who are looking for more luxury living.
Our members’ ages range from 26 to 70 and work in occupations such as teachers, architects, first responders, civil engineers, politics, and medical professionals and work with employers such as the University of California, Cisco, public school districts, medical laboratories, and elected public officials.
HubHaus encourages our members to build a strong community and create positive experiences inside and outside of our homes. Our team facilitates community-focused activities, including neighborhood volunteer days, hiking trips, and social events at local restaurants.
HubHaus understands the efficiency behind co-living, as our members collectively use utilities and consolidate waste. We track all utility usage and waste outputs at our homes each month. We set metrics for utility use and continue to decrease our carbon footprint in our neighborhoods to ensure we are responsible global citizens.
HubHaus values making positive long-term impacts as we work in our communities, and all HubHaus members agree to our community standards before moving into our houses. We educate our members of local regulations and we educate them how to be responsible neighbors.
Millennials and & Gen Z account for 65% of renters, but only 1/3 of Americans share a home with someone else.
72% of millennials who do not own a home are unable to afford one
Those who live with others are less lonely and have a reduced risk of health problems
“I met my HubHaus neighbor in October 2018 when we were both waiting at the bus stop to go to work. We started chatting about the neighborhood and discovered we live next to each other. Since meeting my neighbor, I have gotten to know her housemates and my fiance and I regularly enjoy joining our neighbors for a hike, to check out local brunch spots, and to cook dinner together.“
