We see our members as an extension of HubHaus, and we take the screening process very seriously. With this in mind, we do background and credit checks to ensure that the HubHaus community is full of responsible tenants.
Our member leases average between 6-12 months, with many members renewing for longer periods of time. In this way, we are not similar to AirBnB and do not allow short term stays in the homes. Our minimum member lease term is 3 months.
Nothing! There is no service fee associated with renting to HubHaus.
All members sign agreements with HubHaus to abide by our high standards of cleanliness, our restrictions on guests and gatherings at the house, our required “quiet hours”, and our strict anti-drug policy.
Yes, HubHaus puts utility accounts (eg. power, water) in our name and bills the members separately.
A HubHaus team member will be connected with you upon lease signing, and this individual will act as your single point of contact for questions or concerns throughout the duration of the lease.
Most leases that we establish include agreements with the landlord that ensure the timely resolution of any maintenance issues or needed repairs.
